There’s no way to communicate the feelings going through my head and my heart right now, there’s about zero ways of actually being able to make it make sense right now to anyone but myself. It’s almost like an internal battle that only I am going to be able to actually resolve.

Thing is, there’s people who could help me resolve them and they just aren’t really interested in listening. That might make this the hardest.

So what do you do? When someone accuses you of not being up front with them when you haven’t changed since day 1? When someone says that you are not trying enough, but you have given your all? Really, there’s no way to win!

I think I should have kept up with everything a little bit better, maybe not been so forth coming with a lot of things and just let things play out as they could have without my help, but then that would have been hiding myself and that never works.

Never compromise yourself, right??

Which way is the right way?

I’ve done a lot of thinking lately, on a bunch of different things but I keep finding myself coming back to the exact same conclusions.

I am at a crossroads.

It doesn’t matter where I’m standing, I’m looking at so many different options of the way to go and I have no idea which way is the right way. I’ve been struggling a lot lately, trying to figure out where I am going in my relationships. My jobs. My future. My everything. Each and every time I think I have something figured out, I get thrown a curve ball and have no idea which way I should turn to get back on track.

My relationship right now is my biggest struggle. I am finding myself asking more and more if I deserve more. Am I not asking for enough? Should I be pushing for more when it comes to my needs? I’m not sure. I am continuously asking myself if I even see a future. It’s an amazing thing to be in love but it is very challenging to figure out if deep down… you love someone enough to bite the bullet and accept the things you cannot change, or if you need to stand up and fight.

My friendships.. I’m going through the exact same thing! I am trying to figure out if deep down there are people who need to stay in my life long term, and if some are only here for a season. I’m not sure. I have a lot to figure out.

Right now, I need a bath, with some bubbles… and a london fog latte.

Anyways, the story revolves around Aaron Eckhart’s character – a self proclaimed “self help” grief guru. He launches a career of helping people over come the loss of a loved one, although he isn’t being entirely honest with everyone while doing this…

Jennifer Aniston plays the type love scorned woman, cheating boyfriend, lack of trust of men and a ridiculously great hair-do through the entire movie.

The movie has a predictable plot, as most lately do. I won’t lie, I teared up at one point (I blame hormones), but other then that there are a few laughing moments, a few sad moments and not much else.

I’d say this movie is worth renting on a cold October night if you are feeling sappy or want to punish your boyfriend/husband for leaving his socks on the floor. Grab some popcorn, cuddle up and laugh at how “real love” doesn’t quite work like that.

Erm.. what?

Yep, it’s true. I went and saw Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. Originally it was supposed to be an outing with a kid, but I thought it would be fun to see it in 3D anyways so I went with Keith.

I think any kid would adore this movie, tons of action and giant donuts and ice cream everywhere? It’s like a kid’s dream! The storyline of the movie was predictably basic, but it still had a fantastic message that I think parents are able to cement after the movie while talking to their kid’s about it.

“If you can dream it, you can be it”.

There’s not much else I can comment on about this movie since it was.. well, basic, and I’d hate to ruin any of that for anyone, but it is worth going to see even if t just laugh about falling giant food.

I was really looking forward to this movie for some reason, I’ve always loved Tim Burton and any Tim Burton collaberations. I went into this expecting a Tim Burton style with a complex story line and an instant love…

…Well, I was disappointed to say the very least. I was stunned at the lack of anything complex storywise in this movie, it was predictable and boring, the only thing that actually kept me watching and being interested was the great animation and background scenes. I found those to be impressive and they were really the only saving grace for this movie.

The story line is basic, it talks about “9″ who is a little robot of sorts that comes to life after the world has been annihiliated by machines. You follow the trials and tribulations of a series of these robots throughout the movie, each character has a number and as the numbers go on, they become more of the “final” product. Out of everyone in the world, no one but these robots and a “monster” survive. You can guess where this story line goes right?

So I won’t bore myself, or you. If you are interested in animation then I would recommend watching this on dvd, however.. it is not worthy of the $10 I paid to see it in the theatre.

Anyways most of the items are going to be donated to the WISH Foundation, so far we have about 3 bags of toiletries and 11 bags of clothes. My whole house looks like it’s exploded, there’s 2 rubbermaids of kitchen items as well. We had some amazing outpouring of donations from some other people as well so I just hope that the pick up is still planned next weekend so it isn’t left in my dining room for extended periods of time!

Otherwise things are going fantastic. I have my car money so I have to find something that I like, that’s probably the hardest part. Trying to find a car I like, in my price range, and that I *want* to drive! Hopefully it won’t take me too long since I hate my car right now. I love my car for *being* a car.. but I want a new one now!

I don’t have much to update really, I’m almost finished a few books I can review and I’ll go from there. I’ve also picked up Jillian Michael’s 3 things mentioned in my previous post. She gets to kick my butt!

I’ve made the mistake in the past of judging a book based on reviews and I thought it best to give this one a chance before tossing it into the forgotten pile.

When you start this book you are immediately thrown into the world of “Precious”. The book chronicles the life of a teenage girl who is raped and abused regularly by her father, having 2 children by him, one of which is born with a disability. She is in high school throughout most of the book, unable to read or comprehend anything on a higher then grade school level.

This book is saddening to read, for me anyways.

I found myself angry at a few points while reading this book, how blind is society, we write books about aliens and vampires and all of these “evils” that we have to pretend exist, when all we need to do is open our doors and look outside to see real evil.

Precious ends up being removed from her school and send to an alternative school to help her to learn to read, there she meets many friends that play an important role in helping Precious to define herself as a strong woman.

I was very torn on many aspects of this book, I’m not entirely sure if I loved the book or just liked it. I found the ending hard to get through, I found myself picking up the book and putting it down for nearly a week before I made it through. I can openly understand the message that Sapphire is trying to send with this novel, but I don’t think this will be a novel that I will always remember.

Anyways onto the movie, I had sworn to myself that I would read the book before I saw this movie, I knew somehow it was going to be ruined if I didn’t and well.. I didn’t have time to read the book so I just saw it instead. I’m not entirely sure how I feel about it. On the one hand, yes it has a very cute story, very lovey and then very full of turmoil with fighting and such, but really… did it not creep anyone else that he went back in time to visit this women, only to make her fall in love with him in the future?

I guess what I can’t get my head around is, what came first? The meeting her, or the time travelling. That was never really clear so it just seems like one weird circle when you try to figure out which came first, the chicken or the egg in this sense. One had to be for the other to also be.. very confusing.

I seriously can’t even begin to describe how weirded out I was by the concept of a time travelling baby and miscarriages everytime it “traveled”. That’s weird. Whoever came up with that idea? Weird.

All in all… I don’t think I would watch it again, it is not a “Notebook” where I wanted to buy the movie right away because I loved everything about it. There were parts of this I didn’t love, parts of it I did love.. but nothing knocked my socks off. Rachel and Eric did a great job on playing the love birds, but… meh.
